Meet the Founder
Traci Doddy
For most of my career, I worked inside what many founders experience every day — the bottleneck.
I spent more than 16 years at the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego, joining just two weeks before the first class ever graduated. At the time, the institution was still building its systems, processes, and culture.
Over the years, I became deeply embedded in how everything actually worked — not just on paper, but in practice.
I understood the history behind decisions. I worked closely with the school’s most influential supporters and stakeholders. I knew what mattered to them and why they supported the institution in the first place.
Because of that, people relied on me.
Teams came to me for answers. Leaders came to me for context. Decisions often flowed through me because I understood how everything fit together.
What I didn’t realize at the time was how common this dynamic is — or how much it quietly limits growth.
The most capable people often become the bottleneck.
Not because they want to control everything, but because they’re the only ones who truly understand the systems, relationships, and decisions holding the business together.
I’ve seen firsthand how much pressure this creates — and how unnecessary it actually is with the right structure in place.
That’s the work I do today.
I don't just advise businesses from the outside. I believe the most valuable insights come from understanding how a business actually operates—not just how it's described.
The biggest growth constraints are rarely found in what founders tell you. They're found in how decisions are made, how information flows, how teams work together, and how the business functions every day.
That's why my approach is grounded in observation as much as conversation. Whether we're working through an Assessment, a Blueprint, or a deeper strategic engagement, my goal is the same: uncover the structural patterns that are limiting growth so we can solve the real problem—not just the symptoms.
I help established six-figure founders build structured, scalable businesses that no longer depend on their constant oversight — so they can grow to seven figures with clarity, stronger teams, and systems that actually support them.
Who I Am (Outside the Work)
I’m someone who is naturally curious about how things work — whether that’s a business, a place, or a person’s way of thinking.
I love to travel and experience new places through their culture and cuisine. There’s something about stepping into a different environment that shifts your perspective — and I bring that same lens into the way I work with clients.
I love to cook, partly because it’s creative, but mostly because it’s about taking individual pieces and turning them into something that works together. (There’s a bit of a theme there.)
I love animals, I’m always up for a new adventure, and I’ve learned that I’m happiest when I’m exploring — as long as it doesn’t involve heights.
At my core, my strength is this:
I help people see things differently.
When someone feels stuck, overwhelmed, or too close to their own business to move forward, I can step in and help them see what they couldn’t see before — and create a path that actually works.
Because sustainable growth doesn't come from working harder.
It comes from understanding how your business really works—and building the structure to support where you're trying to go.
